A Personal Approach

At 18 my journey began in the sports and leisure industry as a lifeguard. I continued on to be an Assistant Manager, Lifeguard and First Aid Trainer.  I flourished in the industry for over 17 years, and during this time,  gained an honors degree in Leisure Management.

As well as gaining knowledge on lifestyle, various approaches to fitness, training and mental well- being, I embarked on a journey of self discovery.  I also learnt approaches to clearing pain from my own body.

This led me to explore the world of bodywork.  Already having a love of massage, I continued to explore and educate myself in various aspects of massage and bodywork to assist people in clearing their own pain. I have been working as a bodyworker for over 10 years.

My passion is exercise and movement.  I currently love to run, swim and cycle. I also enjoy regular yoga and meditation practice. I love spending time with my family.

I enjoy experiencing and taking part in sporting events.  My first ever Marathon was in Hastings for their 100th year anniversary of their annual half marathons.  In 2017-18, I took part in a Dance show in Eastbourne, trekked through the jungle in Cambodia for charity and took part in my first Triathlon.

I am now passionate about training for Triathlons, Trail Half Marathons and Open Water Swimming events.

‘Kay has the intuitive skills to guide you to what you need’
Jane, Medical Advisor

My understanding of the mind leading to stresses within the body enables me to look ‘holistically’ and intuitively at the person that I am treating as well as using my ‘scientific’ knowledge which underpins the treatment.

Teaching you to care for yourself

My aim is to empower clients to treat and manage their own pain condition. The more you can do to help yourself the better. However, everyone is unique and their needs and capabilities are taken into consideration.

Always Learning

Initially, I trained with the Wilbury School of Natural therapy as a Holistic Massage Therapist. I then went on to study for Sports Massage, gaining a thorough understanding of massage as a therapeutic tool as well as remedial.

Since then I’ve studied with the ‘Jing’ Institute and OMT London, both internationally recognised training providers leading cutting edge advanced courses for Massage Therapists and Bodyworkers.
